This <a href="http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2009/07/drm-for-news-inside-the-aps-plan-to-wrap-its-content.ars" rel="nofollow">Ars Technica article</a> nicely summarizes the gap between Mark Ng's work and AP's reality. I’d looked at hNews and Value Added News quite a bit last week, and came to the conclusion that Associated Press is very confused (or bluffing) about what the tech is actually capable of.
