M'colleague Tim just wanted to do something simple: he wanted to use a UK-configuration PC keyboard with his G4 Mac. (The reasons are mainly to do with wanting to have the # and " symbols in the right place, as well as liking the MS Natural Keyboard shape, etc.) Easy, one would have thought. Alas no - he had so much trouble with it that he ended up writing his own OS X kernel extension to handle it. It's called UKPCKeyboard.
